Mark S. Bennett

Mark S. Bennett, 55, of rural Van Wert, died at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, August 2, 2015, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

He was born March 26, 1960, in  Royal Oak, Michigan, the son of Richard C. Bennett, who preceded him in death, and Sara C. (Eno) Hoffsetz, who survives in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Other survivors include three children, Zachary Charles Bennett, John Adam Bennett and Annaelise C. Bennett, all of rural Van Wert; five brothers and sisters, Richard G. (Theresa) Bennett of Forest Hills, New York, Kelli A. (Kevin) Rinker of Pasadena, Maryland, Jennifer (Robert) Napier of Charleston, South Carolina, Mary E. (Mike) DiFranco of Columbus and Joseph Hoffsetz of Fruit Port, Michigan.

A brother, Laurence Bennett, also preceded him in death.

Mark was a graduate of the University of Michigan with a degree in electrical engineering. He was employed at CTC Casting.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no funeral service or calling hours.
