Ohio United Way visit

Sykes and Roman stopped in Van Wert recently to see firsthand one of the programs the United Way of Van Wert County helps support. Hire gave them a tour and explained how the YWCA program, now in its 20th year, provides nutritious meals to youngsters who might not have a meal during the break from the school’s free lunch program. The YWCA served more than 20,000 meals to children and 340 children registered for the Summer Food Program in 2014.
