Margaret Ann Tangeman

Margaret Ann Tangeman, 87, of Van Wert, died at 8:58 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2015, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born May 11, 1928, in Van Wert, the daughter of Albert C. and Martha (Railing) Myers, who both preceded her in death. On December 23, 1950, she married Anthony F. Tangeman, who died March 15, 1996.

Survivors include two sons, Robert (Cheryll) Tangeman and Steven A. (Dorothy) Tangeman, both of Van Wert; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a brother, Harvey D. (Berneice) Myers of Van Wert; and one sister, Mary M. Casey of Celina.

Two daughters, Cathy S. Nelson and an infant daughter, Christine A.; an infant son, Jefferey L.; five brothers, Albert W., Robert C., Schuyler E., Donald E. and Charles G. Myers; and a sister, Dora M. Kiracofe, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at noon Monday, June 8, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with Pastor Ted Kelly officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 10 a.m. and noon Monday at the funeral home.
