Debra Jean (Fuerst) Benner

Debra Jean (Fuerst) Benner, 62, of Delphos, died Sunday, June 7, 2015, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Delphos.

She was born August 15, 1952, the daughter of Urban Fuerst, who survives in Delphos, and Ann (Hotz) Fuerst, who preceded her in death in 2000.

Other survivors include a son, Zack Benner of Nashville, Tennessee; three sisters, Jenny (Mike) Daniel of Troy, Pam (Bill) Baxter of Elida and Teresa (Gary “Red”) Wolke of Delphos; one brother, Duane “Dewey” (Bev) Fuerst of Van Wert; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos, with Father Dennis Walsh officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Delphos.

Calling hours are from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos.
