Commissioners set aggregation meeting

The Van Wert County Board of Commissioners are sponsoring a public forum about electricity aggregation on Tuesday, June 23, from 1-3 p.m., with a representative from Palmer Energy Company.

The forum will be in the Commissioners’ Conference room in the County Annex, 114 E. Main St., Suite 200, Van Wert. The event is free, open to the public and no registration is required.

“Many area residents have questions or concerns about their electricity bills,” said Commissioner Stan Owens. “We want to give them an opportunity to meet with a representative of the company that handles aggregation on behalf of county governments throughout Ohio. If you have any questions about how energy aggregation affects your bills, this is your chance to get that problem solved.”

Bill Bradish of Palmer Energy Company, who will be at the forum, advised electricity customers to bring their bills or any other relevant information to the meeting.
