Big Brothers Big Sisters sets golf outing

Big Brothers Big Sisters information

Big Brothers Big Sisters will host its 20th annual Golf for Kids’ Sake Event on Friday, July 24, 2015 at the Mercer County Elks Golf Course. Proceeds will benefit the eleven youth mentoring programs offered to children facing adversity in Mercer, Auglaize, and Van Wert Counties.

The day starts with registration and a sacked lunch, donated by McKirnan Brothers, beginning at 11 a.m. and a shotgun start at noon. There will also be a 50/50 drawing, a raffle, the sale of mulligans and more. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to win $10,000, thanks to Grand Lake Eye Care for sponsoring BBBS hole-in-one prizes again this year.

After a round of 18 holes of golf with three close friends and/or co-workers, participants can enjoy a delicious catered dinner and an awards ceremony.

The cost to join the festivities is $300 per foursome (space is limited). Companies and organizations can be hole sponsors for $150 or cart sponsors for $50. For more sponsorship information, contact the BBBS office or check out its website.
