Wright State reps speak

The Van Wert Economic Development Advisory Group monthly meeting was hosted by the Kenn-Feld Group on Friday. Local economic development stakeholders heard from guest speaker Jim “Rabbit” Bonifas, store manager at Kenn-Feld, and Wright State University-Lake Campus’ Business Enterprise Center Director Julie Miller and Program Facilitator Carol Jones.  Both speakers from Wright State University spoke about the for-credit and non-credit programs offered at the university and the Business Enterprise Center to educate adults for future occupations. In addition, Miller spoke of the 2015 graduation statistics and the new $150 million “Rise. Shine” capital campaign for new building construction that will include a $10 million Advanced Manufacturing Center. (photo submitted)
