Ricky L. Miller

Ricky L. Miller, 66, of Grover Hill, died at 4:57 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

He was born November 14, 1948, in Van Wert, the son of Samuel and Rheba (Thomas) Miller, who both preceded him in death. On October 2, 1970, he married Patricia (O’Dell) Miller, who survives in Grover Hill.

Other survivors include two children, Lisa (Chris) Speith of Convoy and Diana (Jon) Tomlinson of Van Wert; two brothers, Garry (Cleona) Miller of Van Wert and Randy (Julie) Miller of Grover Hill; and six grandchildren, Kenadie, Haley, Parker and Mason Speith, and Taylor and Zachary Tomlinson.

Ricky attended Zion United Methodist Church in Grover Hill. He was an avid Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State Buckeyes fan, and also loved to play cards.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at Zion United Methodist Church in Grover Hill, with Pastor Mike Waldron officiating.

Calling hours are from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 8, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert and an hour prior to services Saturday at the church.

Preferred memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Grover Hill EMS Squad, Zion United Methodist Church or the Gardens of Paulding Activities Fund.
