Revolving loan signing

Deb Fisher (left) of The Corner Treasures LLC, signs papers Friday morning for a $40,000 city revolving loan while Rae Bigham looks on. The two women, who currently help manage the Van Wert Variety Store downtown, which is closing in December, will use the loan to help purchase the former Barnhart Furniture building at the corner of Main and Market streets. Like Van Wert Variety Store, the new business will specialize in “resale retail”, offering furniture, home items, décor, and a multitude of other goods for purchase. (Dave Mosier/Van Wert independent)
