Maurice C. Marlatt

Maurice C. Marlatt, 81, died at 12:05 a.m. Sunday, May 17, 2015, at Van Wert Manor nursing home.

He was born September 21, 1933, in Van Wert, the son of Marie M. King, who preceded him in death.

Mr. Marlatt spent most of his life in Van Wert, but in recent years had lived in Delphos. He was a graduate of Van Wert High School. He was also a longtime friend and buddy to the former Van Wert Chrysler plant employees.

His stepfather, Kenneth E. “Ed” King, also preceded him in death.

There will be no funeral services.

Calling hours are from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert. Burial will take place at a later date in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
