Mary Ann German

Mary Ann German, 84, of Delphos, died Sunday, May 24, 2015, in Coldwater, Michigan.

She was born July 23, 1930, to Mathilda (Hoersten) and Albert Herman, who both preceded her in death. On August 22, 1953, she was united in marriage to Alfred German, who survives in Delphos.

She is survived by five children, Daniel (Marcia) German of Delphos, JoAnn (Bob) Cramer of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, Mike (Carol) German of Delphos, Janet (Dan) Rode of Delphos, and Jeff (Tina) German of Warsaw, Indiana;  11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Jim (Arlene) Herman of Kettering; a special sister, Judy Hoersten of Van Wert; two sisters-in-law, Marie Herman and Carol Herman; and many nieces and nephews.

A grandson, Mark German; two brothers, Leonard and Joe Herman; and a brother-in-law, Vernon German, also preceded her in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, May 29, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Churc26-15h in Delphos, with Father Ron Schock officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Delphos.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, May 28, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, with a parish wake beginning at 7:30 that evening.
