The Knights baseball team’s regular season games have come to a finish with one last game against Coldwater on Monday. The baseball team has received the third seed in the tournament and played Marion Local in their sectional finals game. Last year the baseball team played Marion Local in the district semi-finals and beat them to move on to their state final four appearances for their second consecutive season. Senior Jordan Roop said, “We have had our ups and downs but our team chemistry is strong and we are looking for another deep tournament run.”

The Lady Knights softball team’s regular season games have come to a close. The Lady Knights play the winner of Lima Perry and Delphos Jefferson tonight in their sectional finals game. They have received the first seed in the tournament. They have finished their regular season with playing Parkway last Monday and finish with a record of 18-5.Senior Lauren Schmid said, “We are really excited to head into tournament time because we have great team chemistry and have high hopes for tournament this year.”

The Knights’ year is wrapping up quickly. Only four weeks remain before the school year ends with exams being the last week of the school year. The students have days set up to get out of school next week with their Fun Day and Relay for Life. The end is near and students are eager to get out for the summer. Senior Mallory Bowen said, “This time of the year for us seniors is exciting because we get to move on to another stage of our lives while also making the best of the time we have left at Crestview.”
