Jimmy Miller

Jimmy Miller, 68, of Van Wert, died at 8:06 a.m. Thursday, May 7, 2015, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

He was born July 4, 1946, in Van Wert, the son of Earl W. and Margaret (Stutz) Miller, who both preceded him in death. He married Cindy (Long) Miller, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include two children, Joel Miller and Samantha Miller, both of Van Wert; two brothers, Bill (Karen) Miller of Cape Coral, Florida, and Gary (Deb) Miller of Van Wert; a sister, Marcia (Brian) Pancake of Van Wert; one sister-in-law, Mary Miller of Valley Center, Kansas; and two grandchildren.

Three brothers, Ronald, Mike and Marvin Miller; and a sister, Pat Mason, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, followed by a military honors service at the funeral home.

Calling hours are from 1-4 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
