Don E. Brown

Don E. Brown, 66, of Van Wert, died Monday, April 27, 2015, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne

He was born February 17, 1949, in Paulding, the son of Don R. and Frances E. (Coleman) Brown, who both preceded him in death.

Survivors include three brothers, Frank C. (Linda) Brown of San Diego, California, and Carl R. Brown and Richard A. (Rita) Brown, both of Van Wert; and a sister, Mary Katherine Coleman of Van Wert.

A brother, Harold Brown; and one sister-in-law, Ruth Brown, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 2, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert, with graveside military honors performed by the combined units of American Legion Post 178 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5803, both of Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 4-8 p.m. Friday, May 1, at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials: Harvest Field Pentecostal Church.
