The United Way 2014-15 campaign is winding down and has not yet reached its $600,000 goal.

2014-15 Campaign Chair Scott Mull would like to announce the last planned event to help United Way reach that campaign goal. The event is called “Fiesta Friday” and will be held at Willow Bend Country Club on Friday, May 8, starting at 5:30 p.m.

Premier sponsors for this event are Citizens National Bank, National Door & Trim, Central Insurance Companies and First Federal Savings & Loan.

The ticket price for the evening is $30 per ticket or $50 per couple. The ticket includes a variety of Mexican appetizers, one drink ticket and a ticket into the grand prize drawing for $1,000.

For those interested in sponsoring a corporate table, the cost is $300 per table and includes a pitcher of margaritas, eight tickets for the event and advertising of table sponsors that evening. The first raffle will be drawn at 6:30 p.m. and continue until the last ticket remains.

Other activities will include live auctions for additional hat tickets into the raffle and plenty of side games for additional cash prizes and ticket entries into the raffle. Organizers will also be auctioning off specialty hats with 2015 Ohio State Buckeyes tickets, Women’s Day Away and Lucky Lottery tickets all providing additional chances to the $1,000 grand prize.

Ron Burt of Magic Moment Entertainment will be the emcee for the night’s event. Plan to come in casual attire for the evening.

Tickets can be purchased by visiting the United Way office at 1151 Westwood Drive, calling the United Way at 419.238.6689, emailing unitedway109@embarqmail.com or by contacting any United Way board member. The event will be limited to 250 tickets sold, so get tickets before it is too late!
