New United Way board members

United Way of Van Wert County recently held its first Board of Trustees meeting for the year. New members who will be volunteering their leadership for three years are Alyssa Putman, Marie Bennett, Maria Grothause, Mark Verville, Scott White, Jessica Pannkuk and Kim Bruns. United Way of Van Wert is a non-profit organization that gives to 27 area agencies that provide clothing, shelter, food, health care, family services, education, life skills and physical development to the Van Wert area. The United Way of Van Wert County is still raising money for the 2014-15 campaign, which ends June 30. The goal is $600,000 and the campaign is currently at $435,000. (United Way photo)
