Janell Miller

Janell Miller, 77, of Van Wert, died at 10:49 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She was born July 3, 1937, in Mercer County, the daughter of Emery and Frances (Crider) Swygart, who both preceded her in death. She married Stanley E. Miller, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include two children, Tom (Nancy) Miller of Forest and Beth (Dale) Warnecke of Findlay; a brother, George (Linda) Swygart of Mendon; one sisters, Jane (Bob) Harter of Van Wert; and four grandchildren, Jack Warnecke, Alexa Warnecke, Michelle Miller and David Miller.

Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and was retired from Van Wert City Schools. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Van Wert.

A celebration of life will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, at Trinity United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Scott Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Preferred memorials: Trinity United Methodist Church or Gideons International.
