Carl Wilder

Carl Wilder, 81, died at 10:26 a.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

He was born March 21, 1933, in Paulding, the son of Frank and Lucille (Copsey) Wilder, who both preceded him in death. He first married Valerie (Boxell) Wilder, who preceded him in death, and then, on May 1, 1982, he married Lee Bruyere in California, who also preceded him in death.

Survivors include four children, Cathy (Russ) Krick of Convoy, Shari Brooks of New Haven, Indiana, Denny (Jayne) Wilder of Celina and Dean Wilder of Baltimore, Maryland; two stepsons, Terry and Dale Bruyere, both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; a brother, George Wilder of Guatemala; eight grandchildren, Sean (Jemae) Wilder of Wapakoneta, Jennifer (Matt) Shindeldecker of Celina, Chad (Katie) Wilder of Richmond, Virginia, Alicia (Andy) Perrott of Convoy, Jame (Mark) Mendell of Stanton, California, Nathan Brooks of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Abby (Justin) Rhodes of Celina and Casie (James) Allen of Celina; 15 great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.

A daughter, Renee Lehman; one sister, Maxine King; a brother, Richard W. Wilder; and one granddaughter, Kelli McGinnis.

He had been employed at New Idea in Coldwater for 12 years.

There will be visitation and both funeral and burial services will be private.
