Robert E. Thatcher

Robert E. Thatcher, 69, of Missouri City, Texas, and formerly of Van Wert, died at 8:47 a.m. Saturday, January 31, 2015, at Windsor Quail Valley Nursing Home in Missouri City.

He was born July 6, 1945, in Van Wert, the son of Floyd E. and Rosemary (McDonald) Thatcher, who both preceded him in death.

Other survivors include four children, Michelle Rich of Scottsdale, Arizona, Floyd Thatcher of Lubbock, Texas, Bruce Thatcher of Gilbert, Arizona, and Theresa Thatcher of Scottsdale, Arizona; three sisters, Julie A. Romine of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Kathy J. Boroff of Middle Point, and Sharon Wheeler of Van Wert; and several grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at a later date at Ridge Cemetery in rural Van Wert County.

No visitation is planned at this time.
