CELINA — Ran Raider, Wright State University librarian, will present a free Patents and Trademarks Workshop at Wright State’s Lake Campus. Raider is knowledgeable about patents, trademarks, copyright law, and government resources.

Wright State University maintains a Patent and Trademark Resource Center (PTRC) in the Paul Laurence Dunbar Library at the Dayton campus. As an official PTRC of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), the university has a formal agreement to provide assistance to the general public in the use of patent and trademark resources provided by the USPTO. Every effort will be made to protect confidentiality.

The workshop, which will be held from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, February 12, in Room 229 of Dwyer Hall, is for business owners, attorneys, inventors and students interested in learning more about patents and trademarks. Refreshment will be provided.

Register today by emailing alex.pittman@wright.edu to attend this informative event.
