Knights have successful weekend

By Seth Moser

The Crestview boys pulled off another win against the Allen East Mustangs. The score remained close almost the whole game, but they beat the Mustangs 62-50 in a conference game on Friday. The boys moved to 11-6 on the season and have second seed heading into tournament. “I think all around we did pretty good, we had good shooting, and played good defense,” Cody Mefferd. The boys’ game scheduled for last Saturday has been postponed to Tuesday February 24. The boys will be playing Bluffton at home tomorrow, and New Knoxville on Saturday. For tournament they will either be playing Leipsic, or Fort Jennings for their first tournament game.

Knight Vision preformed at DeKalb last weekend. They achieved third overall after making evening finals. “I had a great time, I think we performed very well, and everyone else had fun too,” said Haley Helm. Knight Vison will be performing at Anderson next weekend in hopes of doing great again.

The girls are still undefeated, and plan on keeping it that way. They beat the Raiders 63-46 to make their record 21-0. “I think we if we keep playing the way we do and play as a team like we have been, we have a good chance to make it to state,” said Claire Zaleski. The girls will be playing at Bluffton tonight, so maybe they can keep their streak alive.
