VW wrestlers do well at Indiana tourney

NEW HAVEN, Indiana — This past Saturday, the Van Wert High School varsity wrestling team competed in a meet in New Haven, Indiana.

Andy Hammond, 2-1, placed second in the 132-pound weight class, while Chandler Adams (3-1) was third in the 170-pound weight class; and Marcel Salcido (2-2) placed fourth in the 182-pound weight class.

Other Van Wert results are as follows: Brandon Calvelage, 2-2, 138 pounds; Jacob Durden, 1-2, 145 pounds; Josh Dorsch, 0-2, 152 pounds; and Brody Couts, 2-2, 220 pounds.
