Marjorie L. Linser

Marjorie L. Linser, 73, of Van Wert, died at 11:45 a.m. Friday, January 16, 2015, at her residence.

She was born July 25, 1941, in Van Wert, the daughter of M. Carl and Flo (Williamson) Gallaway, who both preceded her in death. On November 6, 1960, she married Dennis Linser, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include three children, Jeffrey (Corann) Linser and Jill Knott, both of Van Wert, and Jana (Terry) Krogman of Covington; three brothers, William C. (Jeanne) Gallaway and Richard (Julia) Gallaway, both of Van Wert, and Jerry (Sandra) Gallaway of Nashville, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Ian Knott, Justin Krogman, Joseph Linser, Sarah Linser, and Haley Krogman; and two great-grandchildren, Max and Ella Krogman.

Mrs. Linser was retired from her position as director of purchasing for Kennedy Manufacturing Company in Van Wert. Marjorie truly enjoyed spending time with her family and was an exceptional wife, mother and grandmother.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 21, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Private graveside services will be take place at Ridge Cemetery in rural Van Wert County.

Calling hours are from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
