Marilyn Kay Routt, 59, of Cavett, died at 12:45 p.m. Monday, January 12, 2015, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She was born May 22, 1955, in St. Marys, the daughter of John and Opal (Dunlap) Kingen, who both preceded her in death.

She is survived her husband, Steven; sons Doug (Pamela) Bogle of Convoy and Dan (Trina) Bogle of Monroeville, Indiana; grandchildren Copsey, Drew, Roselynn and Kaygen Bogle of Convoy, and Madison and Rhiannon Bogle of Monroeville; brothers Tim (Becky) Kingen of Muncie, Indiana, and Sam Kingen of St. Marys, Randy (Renee) Kingen of West Virginia, and Guy Kingen of Celina; and half-brothers Greg (Kathy) Correll of Celina and Kenny Correll of Indianapolis, Indiana.

A brother, Ricky Kingen; and two half-brothers, Bob Correl and Carl Garee, also preceded her in death.

She was employed as a production worker at Eaton Corporation in Van Wert. She was a member of Countryside Chapel and North Union United Methodist Churches.

Marilyn was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother devoted to her family and especially to her grandchildren. She loved to travel and visit with her friends and family.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 16, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Wayne Karges officiating. Burial will follow in Taylor Cemetery, after which there will be a luncheon served at Countryside Chapel United Methodist Church.

Calling hours are 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday and an hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.
