The blood drive was a success with multiple donations from students, staff and from the local community. The “Walk for Bailey” has wrapped up and raised money for a student and her family.  The Lady Knights celebrate more than just win. There is now a new option for lunch for the Crestview middle school and high school. The first semester is almost over with exams coming to an end.

The Red Cross foundation came to Convoy for the annual blood drive.  As community we donated 99 units of blood. Senior NHS president Courtney Trigg said, “I think it went very well especially for this being the first year we weren’t able to have it at the school. The administration was really flexible and helpful when it came to getting students to the church. I love being a part of the blood drive. It’s my favorite part of the year for NHS.”

The “Walk for Bailey” was a great success that wrapped up Friday. “Participating in the walk to raise money for a former classmate is a great feeling. I enjoyed walking around the gym for a good cause,” said junior Siera Wood

The Lady Knights traveled to Berlin Hiland High School for the “Classic in the Country” over the weekend. Not only did they defeat Ironton a Division III team 51 to 42, the win marked Coach Rickard’s 400th win.  After the game, Rickard was presented the game ball.

The cafeteria now has a grab and go lunch. Students can now grab a sandwich and some fruit that is already made for $2.40. The salad bar has also changed and students can get the salad bar and a cup of soup.  “I really enjoy the grab and go lunch because I can get it quick and I don’t have to wait in line half the lunch period,”  stated junior Brady Guest

The school year is almost half way done. Exams are almost to the end and the second half of the school will be starting.
