Janice L. Emans

Janice L. Emans, 59, of Van Wert, died at 3:17 a.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born January 15, 1955, in Lima, the daughter of Merl and Elizabeth “Betty” (Coate) Emans, who both preceded her in death.

Survivors include her stepmother, Dolores “Pete” (Redmon) Emans of California; and a sister, Shreena Fornear of Clifton, Colorado.

A brother, Robert Coate, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 17, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Stuart Wyatt officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 3-7 p.m. Friday, January 16, at the funeral home.
