Carolyn L. Stocklin

Carolyn L. Stocklin, 78, of Delphos, died at 5:39 a.m. Monday, January 12, 2015, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.

She was born October 3, 1936, in Spencerville, the daughter of Floyd and Margaret (Wilkerson) Hile, who both preceded her in death. On September 27, 1955, she married Thomas E. Stocklin, who survives in Delphos.

Other survivors include Thomas Stocklin Jr. of Delphos, Greg Stocklin of Bryan and Kevin Stocklin of Lakeview; two daughters, Deborah (Bruce) Denison of Cloverdale and Rebecca (Richard) Auer of Dephos; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Janice Stocklin; one grandson, Mathew Stocklin; a great-granddaughter, Kaydence Knippen; one great-grandson, Andrew Knippen; a brother, Floyd Hile; and one sister, Frances Lowe, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, January 16, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, with the Rev. David Howell officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Delphos.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, January 15, at the funeral home.
