Glen Edwin Miller

Glen Edwin Miller, 96, of Rockford, died at 3:20 p.m. Tuesday, October 21, 2014, at the Laurels of Shane Hill in Rockford.

He was born May 21, 1918, in Celina, the son of the late Charles and Estella Cora (Wolfe) Miller. On January 18, 1941, he married Dorothy Emma (Sealscott) Miller, who preceded him in death on April 27, 1993.

Survivors include a daughter, Judy (John) Farmer of Rockford; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Suzanne Miller of Rockford.

A son, Glen Miller Jr.; a grandson; and one brother, Lloyd A. Miller, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 27, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford, with Pastor Chip Steffy officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Rockford, with graveside military honors provided by American Legion Post 508 in Rockford.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Sunday, and an hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.
