The 1:1 Initiative is about to kick off at Lincolnview. Parent meetings have been set for Sept. 17 and Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. in the cafeteria. These meetings are being provided to go over the Chromebook Initiative Policy and answer any questions you may have about this Initiative. The following signature pages need to be turned in before a Chromebook can be issued to your student – the Parent and Student signature page and the Chromebook Protection Fund agreement, along with the Chromebook fee. Please have you student bring the payment and signed papers with them on their pick-up day. Those pick-up days will be held during school and as follows:

  • Grades 12, 11, 10 – Sept. 23
  • Grades 9, 8, 7 – Sept. 24

The 2nd Graders at Lincolnview Elementary got the opportunity to go to Agriculture Safety Day in Delphos, Ohio. The students learned about: Animal, Fire, Electric, Boat, Chemical, Mower, and Farm safety. The students also got the opportunity to be able to look inside of a Life Flight Helicopter as well.

The High School Physical Education classes have been busy creating posters. These posters are being displayed in the high school gymnasium.

The 6th grade has been busy doing scientific experiments.  Student Madysen Glossett commented, “When we are doing experiments, we learn about how things change and work using the scientific method! Our class gathered data and our supplies. With the dripping diapers, we can watch as the water is soaking into the diaper. We also saw what was inside the diaper. We could make observations but could not taste the chemical absorbent because we practiced science safety. Most importantly we did the experiment and answered the question, which was how many milliliters of water can a diaper hold? With the Come Fly with Me experiment we made paper airplanes the same way, and we threw the airplanes to see how far they would go. Then we calculated the average. By doing these experiments, we can show how we used the scientific method.”
