Nina Duella Dealey

Nina Duella Dealey, 89, of Convoy, died at 3:42 p.m. Thursday, August 21, 2014, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born April 21, 1925, in Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Francis and Duella (Krauter) Krick. On August 2, 1941, she married Oliver Henry Dealey, who preceded her in death on July 21, 1995.

Survivors include three sons, Larry J. Dealey and Basil H. (Margy) Dealey, both of Convoy, and the Rev. Byron (Marsha) Dealey of New Castle, Indiana; a daughter, Rosina N. Thatcher of Decatur, Indiana; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Two sisters, Perth and Viola Krick, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, August 24, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Gregory Leigh officiating. Burial will be in Dealey Cemetery in Paulding County.

Calling hours are from 2-7 p.m. Saturday, August 23, and an hour prior to services Sunday at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials: Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center or Convoy United Methodist Church.
