Margaret Ann Cagle Ziegler

Margaret Ann Cagle Ziegler of Van Wert, and formerly of Asheboro, N.C., died Thursday, April 10, 2014, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born December 7, 1933, in Seagrove, N.C., the daughter of the late Lindsey and Josie Cagle. She was married to the Rev. Carl Ziegler, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include two daughters, Elizabeth “Buffie” (Phil) Parrish of Brown Summit, N.C., and Rosanah (Jeff) Foster of Van Wert; two sons, Lee (Cheryl) Ziegler of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Lowell (Yvonne) Ziegler of Garner, N.C.; 11 grandchildren; and two sisters, Pat (Gordon) Ray and Linda Cagle of Seagrove, N.C.

A sister, Mable Simmons; and one daughter-in-law, Nancy Ziegler, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 13, at Oakhurst Baptist Church in Asheboro, N.C., with Dr. Richard Crider, Chaplain Tim Pheagin and Patricia Gaines officiating. A private family burial will be held at a later date.

Calling hours will be following the service in the church fellowship hall.
