On Tuesday, April 8, the Guidance Department at Lincolnview High School will be hosting a Dual Enrollment meeting as well as a Post-Secondary meeting. The Dual Enrollment meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. This meeting is to answer questions about the Dual Enrollment courses offered at the High School. A high school student may take college courses at the High School and earn college credit while maintaining a regular schedule. Students can earn college credit through Northwest State Community College.

The Post-Secondary meeting will begin at 8:15 p.m. Any student who is interested in participating in this program must attend with a parent. The pros and cons of the program will be discussed as well as information on how the program operates. College applications will be available that night.

If you have questions about either program, or wonder if you should attend, please call B.  Leeth at 419.968.2214 ext. 3210 or email (bleeth@lincolnview.k12.oh.us).

The Lincolnview Benefit Council would like to thank the following for contributing to our 1st Annual Lancer Way Breakfast Day:  Van Wert Federal Bank, Hall’s Custom Meats, Wal-Mart, Dairymen’s, Lincolnview Spanish Club, and the Lincolnview French Club.  Through their generosity we were able to raise $708 to help our Lincolnview families that may be going through hardships due to extreme medical expenses, loss of a parent or natural disaster.

The Lincolnview High School Scholastic Bowl Team recently had a fun day traveling to the Wright State University Lake Campus Scholastic Bowl tournament.  The students competed against 40 area schools, coming in at 16th place.  The students had the experience of spending the day at the college and competing against their peers in a full day of tournament rounds.
