UNICEF Halloween party

First United Methodist Church’s Middle School Youth Group held a UNICEF fundraiser in Fountain Park on October 20. Youths in grades 6-8 enjoyed music, games, prizes, a bonfire and a costume contest. They raised around $70 to send to UNICEF: the United Nations Children’s Fund, an agency of the UN responsible for programs to aid education and the health of children and mothers in developing countries. Youth group members would like to thank all those who attended and helped with the fundraiser.
