COLUMBUS GROVE — This past weekend the Lincolnview Junior High cross country team competed at Columbus Grove Invitational. The Lancers finished second out of 22 teams and just missed getting first, losing by 12 points to the Minster Wildcats.

Seventh grader Calahan Wolfrum was the individual champion in the race with a time of 11:11. Other scorers for the Lancers were Sam Myers (ninth), Kate Tow (14th), Alek Bowersock (32nd), Sterling Rigdon (79th), Keegan Cowan (90th), and Andrew Robinson (108).

Other Lancers competing were Dylan Neat, Noah Daeger, Jacob Keysor and Cameron McAbee.

The Lady Lancers where led by Brayden Langdon and Alena Looser who finished 18th and 19th, respectively. Also scoring for the team was Trinity Welch (53rd), Maddie (54th), Olivia Gorman (93th),  Miah Katalenas (132nd), Madison Sill (139th) and Shae Hines (178th).

The Lady Lancers finished seventh out of 13 full teams.
