Van Wert Police

November 12, 7:59 p.m. — Cynthia K. Franz, 52, of 1133 W. Main St., Apt. 2, was charged with disorderly conduct, an open contain violation and littering after officers investigated a report of an intoxicated woman in the 300 block of West Main Street.

November 11, 2:52 p.m. — Craig Mason, 23, of 636 S. Taylor St., was charged with theft as a result of an alleged shoplifting incident at the local Walmart store.

November 10, 11:52 a.m. — Ashley J. Binkley, 16, of Paul K. Binkley, 46, both of 515 S. Tyler St., were each charged with domestic violence as a result of a domestic dispute at their residence.

November 10, 11:08 p.m. — Philip D. Schwartz, 20, of Spencerville, and Harrison W. Oechsle, 20, of 11247 Wren Landeck Road, were both cited for underage possession of beer as a result of a traffic stop in the 1200 block of West Main Street.

November 11, 5:20 p.m. — Stacie J. Stahl, 24, of 309 Taylor St., and Shari L. Simindinger, 29, of 908 George St., were each charged with theft for an alleged shoplifting incident at the local Walmart store.
