Bowling: Decker to State for third year

Van Wert High School bowler Lorrie Decker is bound for the Ohio High School Athletic Association State tournament for the third consecutive year.

Decker, a junior, qualified as an individual after placing fifth at Division II districts at Westgate Lanes in Lima on Friday. Decker rolled a three game, 598 series to earn All-District honors and advance to Saturday’s tournament at Wayne Webb’s Columbus Bowl.

As a team, Van Wert finished sixth out of 12 teams.
