City announces Jefferson Street closing

Van Wert Safety-Service Director Jay Fleming’s office has announced that Jefferson Street, between Main Street and Central Avenue, will be closed from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, July 29, for the Operation Back to School event sponsored by First United Methodist Church.

Motorists will still be able to go down Central Avenue and turn left onto Jefferson, but not right.
