Van Wert 15 Ottawa-Glandorf 0 (five innings)

Van Wert’s Keaton Brown had a banner day during Monday’s five inning 15-0 ACME baseball victory over host Ottawa-Glandorf.

Brown held the Titans to just three hits over four innings, while striking out four and walking two. He also had four of Van Wert’s 18 hits, plus two RBI.

Jake Lautzenheiser also had four hits, and Hayden Maples, Ryan Hollingsworth and Parker Conrad each had two hits. Maples, Conrad, Lawson Blackmore, Jalen McCracken and Jaxson Amweg each finished with a pair of RBI.

The Cougars plated four runs in the first inning, two more in the second, eight in the fourth and one more in the fifth.

Van Wert is scheduled to host Bryan today.

Lincolnview 18 Delphos Jefferson 0 (five innings)

The Lancers jumped out early and never looked back during a five inning 18-0 ACME win over the Wildcats on Monday.

Lincolnvniew scored four runs in the first inning, two in the second, then piled up 10 runs in the third inning, before tacking on two more in the fourth.

Jaden Youtsey had three hits (two doubles and a triple) and three RBI and Ethan Kemler had a trio of hits plus one RBI. Braxton Fox and Clayton Leeth each had two hits and two RBI.

Creed Jessee earned the win on the mound after scattering five hits over five innings, striking out four.

Lincolnview is slated to host Van Wert on Thursday.
