The YWCA of Van Wert recently received six beautiful handmade benches to be used in the YW’s locker area and fitness facility. The benches were donated and made by Trinity United Methodist Church’s Next Level Sunday school class.

The class’s goal is to promote and build communities through a potential new woodworking ministry. These benches are hopefully the start of many other helpful projects in the community.

“The YWCA is very appreciative and excited to have received these beautiful benches and looks forward to collaborating with Trinity United Methodist in future projects,” said YWCA Executive Director Kimberly Laudick. “We are so thankful for the continued support and generous donation of the Trinity United Methodist Next Level Sunday school class.”

The YWCA is a United Way and Van Wert County Foundation funded agency.
