YWCA holding annual geranium sale

The YWCA’s annual geranium sale is going on now until 9 a.m. Monday, April 27. Geraniums are hardy root plants sold in 4½-inch pots. Colors available are red, white, lavender, fuchsia, pink and light salmon. Pots are $3 each.

Don’t miss this opportunity to beautify the yard and support the YWCA this Mother’s Day! Geraniums will be available for pick up Wednesday, May 6, from 1-6 p.m. and Thursday, May 7, from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Cash and carry sales for any leftover plants begin Wednesday, May 6, at 1 p.m.

Hanging baskets will also be available for purchase at a cost of $18 on Wednesday while supplies last. Don’t forget, geraniums make the perfect Mother’s Day gift! The annual geranium sale supports the work of the YWCA throughout the year, including the Transitional Living, Summer Food, and Domestic Violence Services programs. Stop into the YWCA and place an order today.

YWCA general operating hours are Monday through Thursday, 6:30 a.m.-7 p.m.; Friday, 6:30 a.m.-1 p.m.; closed Saturday and Sunday.
