Buckeye Youth Fun Day

On Martin Luther King Jr. day, the Buckeye Youth organization hosted a full day of activities for area children ages 5-12 at a Fun Day held at the YWCA. Attendees watched movies, made crafts, went swimming and played games. The children enjoyed a special presentation from Jim Bowsher, archeologist, geologist, historian, folklorist, collector, storyteller and writer. Several high school service club members, Buckeye Youth teens and adults volunteered to help make the day a special and successful program. Buckeye Y Youth Inc. is a United Way agency and a Van Wert County Foundation grant recipient. (photo submitted)
