Local DeMolay members at Winterfest

SANDUSKY — Ohio DeMolay sponsored its annual Winterfest event at Kalahari Resort in Sandusky December 5-7. Van Wert resident AJ Thomas currently serves as the state master councilor of Ohio DeMolay, while Joe Linser serves the Ohio State Council as second preceptor. Nick Motycka, a Lincolnview student, portrayed Jacques DeMolay in the dramatic section of the weekend.

Also attending from Van Wert Chapter were Cade Chiles, current master councilor; Nick White, current senior councilor; Noah Hanson, senior steward; Keagan Hammonds, junior deacon; and Zach Blakeley. Over 100 were in attendance for a weekend of fun, fellowship, and great food!

DeMolay is a youth fraternity open to young men between the ages of 12 and 21 that focuses on teaching leadership skills, the benefits of good citizenship, a firm reliance on the grace of God, and the rewards of camaraderie.
