Clever Clovers Meet

The Clever Clover 4H Club had its seventh meeting on June 6, 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Grace Bible Church  in Van Wert. 16 members and three guests were present. The club was reminded to sell BBQ Dinner Tickets.  The club separated into small groups and many did demonstrations.

Two graduation cards were presented to Claire Gamble and Audrey Nicolai, the seniors of the club. Health and safety officer Kayla Krites did a report on “Pet Safety in the Summer”.  Snacks and drinks were provided by Erin and Ali Gemmer.  There are six weeks until judging.

Erin Richardson led the club in an ice-breaker. Then the club participated in a learning activity by teaching each other how to sew buttons.  Service coordinator Jamie Burenga reminded the club that there is a service project to help unload food for the Cooperative Ministries’ Food Pantry at First United Methodist Church at 8:45 a.m.   The next meeting will be on June 16, at 6:30 p.m.at Grace Bible Church in Van Wert.
