Margaret Ann Freck

Margaret Ann Freck, 92, of Decatur, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014, after a brief illness. She was born December 21, 1921, in Rockford, Ill., the daughter of the late Major Charles E. Blough and Katherine Smiley Blough.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death her husband of 49 years, Harold William Freck, two brothers, Gene Blough and Dean Blough; and a daughter-in-law, Janet Johnson Freck.

Survivors include three sons, Don (Carolyn) Freck of Carrolton, Georgia, Gene Freck and Alan Freck, both of Decatur, Georgia; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.

A private graveside service was held at Decatur (Ga.) City Cemetery on April 11, 2014. A.S. Turner & Sons in Decatur, Georgia, were in charge of arrangements.
