Cougar boys lose 2 bowling matches

WAPAKONETA – The Van Wert Cougars boys’ bowling team lost both of their matches Monday at Astro Lanes in Wapakoneta.

The Cougars dropped the first match to Russia by a score of 2124-1919. Individual scores are as follows: Joey Kinner, 166 and 153; Tyler Ruger, 167 and 175; Colton Descher, 157 and 160; Jacob Blackmore, 127; Andrew Price, 187; and Gabe Rollins, 194.

Baker game scores are as follows: Van Wert 113 and 187; Russia, 187 and 215.

In the second match, Van Wert lost to a red-hot Wapakoneta squad 2412-2093.

Individual Van Wert scores are as follows: Joey Kinner, 175 and 190; Tyler Ruger, 175 and 179; Andrew Price, 169 and 194; Gabe Rollins, 156; Colton Deschmer, 145; Jason Zosh, 180; and Jacob Blackmore, 196.

Wapakoneta bowlers’ scores are as follows: Brandon Kennard, 223 and 218; Stone Schnarre, 151; Nate Kaeck, 207 and 189; Austin Krites, 209 and 184; Chandler Kaeck, 194 and 267; Blake Kneuve, 168.

Baker game scores were as follows: Game 1, 193-158, Wapak; and Game 2, 209, 181, Wapak.
