Wilma K. Agler

Wilma K. Agler, 95, of Decatur, Ind., and formerly of Van Wert, died at 5:40 a.m. Saturday, November 30, 2013, at Maplewood of Shane’s Village in Rockford.

She was born September 24, 1918, in Ohio City, the daughter of the late William and Nella (Parker) Pierce. On April 18, 1936, she married Verdine Agler, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include four children, Starley Baxter of Decatur, Ed (Sandy) Agler of Celina, Frank (Sandi) Agler of Van Wert and Lounetta (Gerry) Geimer of Decatur; a brother, Ed Pierce of Van Wert; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.

A grandchild and one great-grandchild also preceded her in death.

Private family services will be conducted, with Rev. David Ray officiating. Burial will in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

There will be no calling hours.

Preferred memorials: Maplewood of Shane’s Village or a charity of donor’s choice.
