Lady Lancers beat Hicksville Aces

The Lincolnview Lady Lancers had an easy time of it, beating Hicksville 55-28 Friday night in a non-conference girls’ basketball match-up played at Lincolnview.

The Lady Lancers had four players in double figures, led by Julia Thatcher’s 15 points. Others in double figures included Christine Stemen (14 points), Hannah McCleery (12 points) and Ashton Bowersock (10 points).

Lincolnview led in rebounding, 36-28, while both teams had 14 turnovers in the game. The Lancers were 22 of 53 from two-point range (41 percent) and made 3 of 7 three-point attempts (42 percent). Lincolnview was 8 of 16 at the free-throw line (50 percent).
