Janet L. Czajkowski

Janet L. Czajkowski, 73, of Shelby Township, Mich., died from cancer at 10:25 a.m. Thursday, August 30, 2012, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born February 3, 1939, in Detroit, Mich., the daughter of the late Ernest and Eva (Thompson) Rickman. She married John A. Czajkowski, who also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Czajkowski was a registered nurse and homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, J. Andrew (Mary) Czajkowski of Van Wert and James (Jeanne) Czajkowski of Michigan; a brother, Richard (Sarah) Rickman of Centerville; and three grandchildren, Alexandra, Katrina and Ryan.

A sister, Joann Arthur, also preceded her in death.

No funeral services are planned at this time.

There will be no calling hours.
