Helen F. Yoder

Helen F. Yoder, 60, of Elida, died at 9:30 a.m. at her residence.

She was born May 16, 1952, in Allen County, the daughter of Huldah (Bear) Stemen, who survives in West Virginia, and the late Dale Stemen. On October 1, 1972, she married Dale Yoder, who survives in Elida.

Other survivors include two sons, Jonathan (Shana) Yoder of Elida and Jerel (Paula) Yoder of Delta, Colo.; two daughters, June Yoder and Jolene Yoder, both of Elida; two brothers, Karl (Cindy) Stemen of Elida and Kenneth (Lena) Stemen of Loogootee, Ind.; two sisters, Janice (Lester) Carpenter of Shoals, Ind., and Marjorie (Dave) Plank of Durbin, W.Va.; and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 3, at Sharon Mennonite Church in Elida, with the Revs. John Brunk, Ron Bear and Lyndon Hartman officiating. Burial will be in Sharon Mennonite Cemetery.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, September 2, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, and an hour prior to services Monday at the church.
