State-bound

Crestview hosted a pep assembly as the student body waved the varsity softball team off to Firestone Stadium for the state tournament, in which the Lady Knights play the Strasburg-Franklin Tigers. The 2012 state-bound softball team consists of McKenzie Nofer, Holly Genth, Morgan McClure, Taylor Hamrick, Terra Crowle, Brittany Helt, Maddie Etzler, Mackenzie Riggenbach, Leigha Taylor, Dani Hicks, Taylor Springer, Mackenzie Richard, Mariah Henry, Kirsten Hicks, and Brooke Bowen. The game will be broadcast on WKSD 99.7.  In addition, fans can get the game on the Internet by going to go997.com or on the Van Wert independent.
